Klan Fitness ("Klan", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Klan Fitness mobile application and the oflyingbird.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Authentication is handled via one-time passcodes (OTP) sent to your email — we do not store passwords.
Fitness Data: With your permission, we access step count data from Android Health Connect. This data is used solely to display your daily steps and sync to your profile. We do not sell or share fitness data with third parties.
Workout Data: Workout logs (exercise names, sets, reps, weight, duration, calories) are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our cloud servers for backup and leaderboard functionality.
Device Information: We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens to send push notifications (streak reminders, challenge alerts). No other device identifiers are collected.
Profile Media: If you upload a profile avatar, the image is stored on our servers (Cloudflare R2) and associated with your account.
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global network using D1 (database), R2 (media storage), and KV (caching). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Authentication uses JWT tokens with short-lived access tokens (1 hour) and 30-day refresh tokens.
Workout data is stored locally in an on-device Room database and optionally synced to our cloud infrastructure. You can use the app without cloud sync.
We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or social media tracking pixels.
Klan Fitness requests read-only access to your step count data via Android Health Connect. This data is:
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at somrbaral@gmail.com or use the contact form. We will delete all your data within 30 days of receiving your request.
Local workout data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in Android Settings.
Klan Fitness is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
